the vani-t story

As a qualified beauty educator and 18 years in the beauty industry, I was very aware and concerned about the high level of chemical ingredients in most leading beauty products. Having 3 children, I was conscious of what products I used on their skin - even baby products contained high levels of chemical ingredients. I made a conscious decision not to expose them to chemicals from birth.

We live in a world where we are constantly bombarded with chemicals; but modern-day beauty culture is embracing organic, chemical free alternatives. I strongly believe that what you put onto your body is as important as what you put into it. I researched and found that the average adult uses 9 personal care products daily, exposing them to 126 chemicals every day. It is a medically recognized fact that our body absorbs significant amounts of what we put on our skin. With one third of all personal care products containing possible carcinogens, why should we accept this for our skin?

All of Vani-T's products contain:

· All natural and organic ingredients

· No petro-chemicals, mineral oils, parabens

· No artificial preservatives

· No artificial colours or fragrance

· No animal testing

· High in vitamins, active ingredients, luscious natural oils and pure botanicals

Since Vani-T's conception in 2003, I was dedicated to creating innovative, high demand products that have a real point of difference in image, delivery of results, quality and purity, with a high natural and organic ingredient content, stunning recyclable packaging and affordable pricing. I spent hours in the kitchen concocting various formulas - blending natural oils, vitamins and botanical extracts into luxurious products free from chemical additives. Although I dont have time to hand make them myself anymore, I work passionately to ensure my vision is kept alive, just on a much larger scale.

Vani-T has experienced massive growth and is now available in over 15 countries including the USA , UK , Europe, Canada and New Zealand . Our products have been voted best in their category time and time again in leading beauty /fashion magazines, and are used by countless celebrities, make up artists and models around the world.

Vani-T have always been passionate advocates for the natural and organic industry, but we are also strongly committed to preserving our earth for future generations - always looking for ways we can make the world a better place.

From choosing recycled paper for all our marketing material; recyclable packaging for our products; cruelty free formulas, and utilizing ingredients from renewable sources. We offset any carbon emissions from our Head Office complex by buying energy only from renewable sources such as wind and solar power. Any air travel done by our company employees is offset and carbon neutral and carbon "credits" are bought.

We believe strongly in "giving back to the community" so we have chosen the following charities to donate to throughout 2008:

Anti Cancer Council
Heart Foundation
Sponsoring children though World Vision
We also donate to numerous charitable events such as a recent tree planting exercise where our donation paid for planting of over 500 trees in a community in Bangladesh destroyed by a natural disaster. Your continued support assists us in supporting these worthy causes, and together, we can make a world of difference!
